William Shatner, the 82 year old comedian, will join Brian Baumgarter (The Office) and drop in on "Hot in Cleveland" pilot episode, which will debut on Wednesday, June 19 at 10/9c on TV Land.
The 91-year-old, humorous Elka Ostrovsky (Betty White) will be up against William Shatner in a battle of the wits.
"At long, long last, I am working with someone older than me," Shatner joked about the premiere of the latter half of Season 4.
White and Shatner appeared in the 2006 Comedy Central Roast. He joked (audacious confession?) that "Betty and I have been lovers for a while. That's all out in the open. We're going to do a sex tape for the AARP," said Shatner during Vanity Fair in 2010.
Well, the sex tape still remains to surface the internet, but this next episode will be a powerful episode. Joy (Jane Leeves) finds out about the unlawful and shady activities that Mamie (Georgia Engel) and Elka (Betty White) have been busying themselves with. Victoria (Wendie Malick), Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli), and Joy (Jane Leeves) will do their best to stop what they are doing.
"Hot in Cleveland" details the story of 40-something girlfriends who flew to Paris from Los Angeles after a plane mishap. Upon realizing that the women were actually being pursued, they decided to stay in the romantic city.
