A Rhode Island mother was arrested on felony assault charges on Tuesday when she threw a rock at the reporter, then sent dogs after the crew while waving a baseball bat.

The news crew recorded the whole attack.

WLNE-TV photographer Marc Jackson and reporter Abbey Niezgoda went to the Melissa Lawrence's house to obtain a comment from the woman over her daughter's death. It seems like the woman has moved on from Denial and entered the Anger stage.

The woman's 16-year-old daughter was shot by a teenager who recently surrendered to the police. The victim was shot in the back, but is currently recovering.

The rock thrown by the attacker narrowly missed the photographer's head, as Lawrence shouted, "Get away from me!"

The attacked news crew's female reporter suffered a bite from the dog on her forearm and is recovering after a tetanus shot.

The news crew only wanted to get a story of her point of view on the matter. WLNE claimed, "They were never on the woman's property and were attacked right on the street."
