'Evil Elmo' has been arrested for yet another crazy crime.

Last year, Evil Elmo shouted anti-Semitic comments at the tourists in New York's Time Square. This year, he threatened Girl Scouts and tried to extort $2 million.

The 49-year-old Dan Sandler, a homeless man, sent harassing email to a female supervisor, whose email he recieved after obtaining a temporary position there. When he was told to stop, he replied, threatening to spread fictitious information about sexual abuse within the organization. He blackmailed the supervisor, giving a choice between a life-long job with high pay, or $2 million to keep his mouth shut.

"I want a telecommute job from home of life at 150K. Or a two million dollar cash settlement. As you know, the newspapers like to cover my evil Elmo scenario."

Evil Elmo continued, "How you treat me as a person will go a long way in regards to how I treat the Girl Scouts in the press, on the Internet and on u-tube."

The emails were "increasingly alarming and bizarre," Assistant District Attorney of the case has commented.

Evil Elmo gained his fame when he spent his time at Time Square last year to tirade anti-Semitic slurs at many different pedestrians, covering his face in the red Elmo suit. He was found guilty of disorderly conduct, and was previously sentenced to two days of community service. Perhaps this was not enough for Evil Elmo.
