Scarlett Johansson, is suing a French publisher for using her name in a new novel named "La première chose qu’on regarde," or "The First Thing You Look At."

The book is currently only in French, however, when Scarlett Johansson noticed that her name appeared in it, the hot actress just jumped into the lawsuit.

The novel itself, by Grégoire Delacourt, features a character called Jeanine Foucaprez, who is a doppelgänger of Scarlett Johansson. The character later reveals herself to her mechanic lover.

The garage-owner initially thought that she was Scarlett Johansson due to her likeness with her. Delacourt denied to French radio station RTL that the use of Scarlett Johansson's name is to make money off of her celebrity status.

"This is a true love story, with real, romantic characters," He claimed as he confessed his love to 2006 Esquire Magazine's 'Sexiest Woman Alive'.

"This corresponds with the fantasies of our times. All these famous people live with us. But I wrote a book of fiction."

He expressed his heart to 'Le Figaro,' "I am also very sad. I was hoping that [Scarlett Johansson] might send me flowers because this book is, in a way, a declaration of love. She is an archetypal beauty of our times, very human with a touching fragility. She is a wonderful, iconic actress."
