The "Hunter x Hunter" anime has been aired on Toonami last Apr. 16. It featured the English dub commissioned by Viz Media.

Anime News Network reported that the "Hunter x Hunter" anime's English dub is produced by Bang Zoom! Entertainment. Viz Media has announced the voice cast for the 2011-2014 series last month.

Erica Mendez took on the role of Gon Freecss while Cristina Vee portrayed Killua Zoldyck. Matthew Mercer, Keith Silverstein and Erika Harlacher are part of the cast as Leorio, Hisoka and Kurapika, respectively.

Last October, Viz Media announced that it had licensed the "Hunter x Hunter" anime series. The company has also revealed its plans to release the series on Blu-ray and DVD.

Crunchyroll streamed the "Hunter x Hunter" anime series during its run from 2011 to 2014. It had 148 episodes in total.

The anime focused on Togashi's original "Hunter x Hunter" manga. The story follows Gon Freecs as he tries to become a Hunter and find his father. He also wants to know the reason why his father abandoned him as a baby.

In another report by ANN, it was revealed that Yoshihiro Togashi will be resuming the Dark Continent arc for his "Hunter x Hunter" manga. The story was put on hold after the series creator took a break because of his serious lower back pain.

Meanwhile, according to The Inquisitr, Togashi's fans are announcing their "indefinite hiatus." Apparently, the official moderators of the popular "HxH" Reddit thread will be taking a break from giving updates on the author.

"According to sources, the users and moderators of /r/HunterXHunter have decided to go on an indefinite hiatus in order to punish Yoshihiro Togashi for his own constant hiatuses and meager releases throughout the years," a note read. It seems as if the moderators have tired of following Togashi around.

KPZ noted that the news of "Hunter x Hunter" manga's continuation will definitely come as a relief to fans. There have been a lot of frustrations over the manga series' frequent breaks.
