Boston Red Sox Legacy Could Fall, Team Value And Worth At Risk Due To Yankees-Red Sox series?

The game series for Boston Red Sox against the Yankees have begun. Along that line, the legacy of the Boston Red Sox hangs on a thread as the game brings uncertainties of winning and losing, including battling weather conditions.
It appears that the team value and worth are at risk given the close fight that Boston Red Sox had to endure with the Yankees. A former post from NJ revealed, “The rain has been falling steadily for a half-hour, but it appears that the teams have a mutual off day on Monday, and Red Sox wouldn't push the game back a day. Rather, they would host a double-header later in the season.”
Since the Yankees have already had two rainouts, their Opening Day game against the Astros was rained out and pushed to the next day, which was a mutual off day and they were also rained out in Detroit and will have to return there to play the postponed game, and that game has not rescheduled, reports the same post.
However, the game is on as he Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees close out their first series of the 2016 season in a Sunday night showdown at Fenway Park and after clobbering the Yankees 8-0 on Saturday, the Red Sox will trot out the same lineup to try to put some runs on the board for left-handed ace David Price, who’s struggled in three home starts so far, according to a from NESN
The Yankees already lost the series, but they’ll be looking to avoid getting swept when they turn to starter Nathan Eovaldi, who no-hit the Texas Rangers through six innings in his last start, as noted by the same post.
It stands to reason that Boston Red Sox would not just give up the legacy that it has built for many generations. Furthermore, the team is more than willing to overcome the threat of losing net worth and value and aim on winning the series against the Yankees.
