They've yet to announce a name, but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are new parents to a baby girl.
On Sunday afternoon, Kim's mother Kris Jenner took to Twitter to deliver the exciting news to the world: "HAPPY FATHERS DAY @kanyewest !!!!!!"
Kardashian gave birth to a girl at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California. According to E! News, a source was quoted as saying "She looks just like Kim." West, the baby's father, was at Kardashian's side when she gave birth. Sources say the baby was delivered naturally, and both mother and child are happy and healthy.
There is no official word on a name yet, but sources tell E! News that the name "will start with a 'K,'" a seemingly running tradition in the family; Kim's mother is Kris and her sisters are Kourtney and Khloe.
The child's birth is rather unexpected, as Kardashian's due date was widely believed to be in July. Sister Khloe also shared her joy over the new baby on Twitter, describing her as a "miracle." The baby weighed less than 5 pounds at the time of birth.
Meanwhile, as news of the power couple's new addition hits media sources worldwide, people have already begun to speculate what the child will look like when she's older. Forensics artist Joe Mullins studied pictures of the couple in painstaking detail to create computer-generated images of what their daughter could look like in the future.
Whether or not this is an accurate depiction, the world awaits in anticipation for actual pictures of the new baby. Experts say the first real pictures of West and Kardashian's daughter could bring in up to $5 million.
This has been a rather joyous time for West, who has just welcomed a new baby and is also set to release his new album, "Yeezus," on Tuesday. Prior to release, the record has already garnered critical acclaim.
