Director Bryan Singer has revealed that the "X-Men: Apocalypse" casts Wolverine cameo is going to be unique. Michael Fassbender also shared his thoughts on his return as Magneto.

According to HeyUGuys, the final "X-Men: Apocalypse" trailer featured Hugh Jackman's return as Wolverine. Bryan Singer and producer Simon Kinberg talked about Weapon X's cameo.

"What's really nice about his cameo is that he's the Wolverine you've never seen before," Singer said. "He's truly Weapon X. Not just the guy coming out of the tank, but the weapon."

"There were a lot of different versions," Kinberg told the publication. "I didn't feel pressured to put Wolverine in this movie because I feel like there's so many great characters in the 'X-Men' Universe that we probably could have made a movie without Wolverine and it still would have been an engaging film."

Simon Kinberg also added that the production team were trying out different versions of how to include "X-Men: Apocalypse" cast Wolverine in the film. It seems like Hugh Jackman's cameo would involve a "full on, out of control, animalistic, stripped down Wolverine."

Moreover, "X-Men: Apocalypse" cast Wolverine may also meet with a younger Jean Grey in the highly-anticipated film. "That suddenly became very interesting to us and this notion that there could be this moment between him and Jean which could be really rich as well," Kinberg said.

Meanwhile, ABC News reported that Michael Fassbender is back as part of the "X-Men: Apocalypse" cast. He will be reprising his role as rebel mutant leader Magneto.

"I think the great thing about the 'X-men' movies and the comic book franchise is this idea that they're people who have been pushed to the fringes of society," the actor said in "Good Morning America." "They're outcasts in some way, and I think people can really relate to that."

Fassbender first starred as a young Magneto in "X-Men: First Class." He reprised his role as the mutant villain in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set in 1983 when an ancient mutant, Apocalypse, awakens and sets out to dominate the world. The film is slated for release on May 27.
