Known for her survivalist role in the "Fifth Wave," Chloe Moretz is shifting her career gears into another industry. The comedic kind. Chloe Moretz, who's Brooklyn Beckham's girl, is set to join "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising."
If you've seen the first movie, "Neighbors," Seth Rogen created a stoner comedy that focuses on youthful freedom. However, this time, the movie is targeting the college-aged female audience. And that's why Chloe Moretz is enlisted for the job. Business Insider has it that Seth Rogen made "Neighbors 2" as a movie that empowers women. Chloe Moretz will need to pause dating Brooklyn Beckham for a while because she'll need to play Shelby. In "Neighbors 2", Moretz starts her own sorority party after being told that they're not allowed to do so wth the help of former frat boy Teddy Sanders (Zac Efron). They end up finding a house next to Kelly (Rose Byrne) and Mac Radner (Rogen), who already dealt with a frat next to them in the first movie and are trying to sell their house. Vanity Fair calls it a fight for the right to party.
The 19 year old is becoming a rising star in Hollywood's youngest advocates for progressive work for females. Moretz says, that "... It can still be a highly raucous comedy, and honestly, it is almost more funny coming from girls because it's not been seen before so it's a lot fresher in our eyes."
She shares that her mentors, in becoming an actress, would have to be Julianne Moore. "She's someone I've always looked up to and who has really helped me out and given me some of the strongest advice I've had in my career," she explains.
