The actual ceremony of the Avril Lavigne-Chad Kroeger wedding is on Avril's calendar later tonight. The rock couple is reportedly spending their lavish weekend in France.
The big party on Saturday in Cannes was a precursor for the "extremely intimate" ceremony that will be hosted tonight, according to US Weekly. Avril Lavigne had been dreaming and planning for the big day, and told the media about her great excitement.
"I want all the guests who come to have this once in a lifetime experience and I want everyone to say 'Wow!' and for it to be special for everyone, not just us."
Nickelback's Chad Kroeger, the broom, has been reportedly letting the Rock princess get whatever she wanted. Avril Lavigne has been photographed to wearing a crown and posing with her bandmates in a light blue dress.
"I'm the one who has the crazy vision and he's letting me be me," Avril said. "It's a lot and I just want to make sure I really enjoy this amazing time."
The Girlfriend singer had previously married Deryck Whibley but had been divorced since 2009. Lavigne recently spoke of her love life with Chad Kroeger, 'I feel most beautiful when I'm around Chad. He makes me feel so beautiful, and I'm not one who really dresses up that much. I'm usually in the studio in regular, comfy clothes. I wear some pretty out-there designs. He likes my style - he thinks I'm cute.'
The couple recently announced their proposal with a 14-carat diamond right last August, after they had dated for only 1 month.
