The "Dark Souls 3" DLC release date is expected to arrive in E3 2016. The event will be this Jun. 14 to 16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Christian Today reported that the "Dark Souls 3" DLC release date will bring about not just one expansion pack but two. It may include previous expansion packs such as "Artorias of the Abyss," "Crown of the Sunken King," Crown of the Old Iron King" as well as "Crown from the Ivory King."
Fans can expect several new maps, new bosses to battle with and more enemies to slaughter once the "Dark Souls 3" DLC release date arrives. The expansion packs will most likely have new weapons and armors as well.
In another report by Christian Today, it was revealed that the "Dark Souls 3" DLCs were first announced earlier this year, in February. It came after listings of a Season Pass appeared in various digital storefronts.
Apparently, two of the "Dark Souls 3" DLC will be sold at $25 a bundle but could be bought individually. There has been no official announcement on the actual individual price of the expansion packs.
"Challenge yourself with new maps, bosses, enemies, and additional weapon and armor sets," the description of the Season Pass read. "Prepare yourself once more and embrace the darkness."
According to Breathecast, the "Dark Souls 3" DLC release date is expected to happen during E3 2016 this June. There were speculations that the game's first expansion pack will arrive this fall.
Venture Beat noted that "Dark Souls 3" has surpassed estimates for console and PC. In April, digital game sales rose to $6.2 billion as per data from SuperData Research.
"Bandai Namco's newest title earned an estimated $45 million [from digital channels] in the first month of its release, outperforming console revenue by nearly $18 million," SuperData CEO Joost van Dreunen said. "This is the first 'Dark Souls' title to perform better [in terms of digital sales] on PC than console."
