Recent Jaden Smith 2016 news revealed that the actor has signed with a new talent agency. This comes after he teased about his album on Twitter.
It was previously reported that Jaden Smith hinted at a new album this 2016. The 17-year-old actor took to his official Twitter account to tease fans about his next project.
Earlier this month, the model tweeted about the status of his new album. It appears to be a big deal as well since he pinned it to his profile. "Finish Your Album Jaden," he wrote.
In another tweet, he shared a photo of what looked like a music studio. This led to speculations that his new album will be available soon.
Recent Jaden Smith 2016 news by Deadline revealed that the actor has signed with William Morris Endeavor (WME). He was previously with Paradigm. Miguel Melendez at Westbrook Entertainment and attorney Jason Sloane will continue to represent the young star.
Smith will be appearing in Baz Luhrmann's upcoming Netflix series entitled "The Get Down." It is set to premiere on Aug. 12.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith's son will take on the role of Marcus "Dizzee" Kipling. The character is described as "a psychedelically talented and enigmatic graffiti writer." The upcoming Netflix show is set in New York City in the 1970s.
Jaden Smith first appeared on the silver screen when he starred in "The Pursuit of Happyness" with his dad. He then got a lead role in "The Karate Kid" with Jackie Chan.
According to The Inquisitr, Jaden Smith's deal with WME came at a busy time for the 17-year-old. Photos of his character on the set of "The Get Down" have been released. It showed the actor with a big afro and a spray paint can in one hand.
Jaden Smith's net worth is believed to be at $8 million. He was linked to "Hunger Games" actress Amandla Stenberg and "KUWTK" star Kylie Jenner. Smith is currently dating model Sarah Snyder.
