"Avengers: Infinity War" spoilers claimed that two Avengers could die in the 2018 film. There are a lot of speculations on the movie's plot and these should be taken with a grain of salt.
In Christian Today's "Avengers: Infinity War" spoilers, it was rumored that an epic battle against Thanos, portrayed by Josh Brolin, will not bode well for the god of thunder, Thor, portrayed by Chris Hemsworth. Moreover, it was said that he will lose the power of the Mjolnir.
Apparently, Valkyrie, who is expected to be introduced in "Thor: Ragnarok," is believed to take Thor's place as the wielder of the Mjolnir in "Avengers: Infinity War." Actress Tessa Thompson is said to take on the role of Valkyrie.
According to Movie Pilot, Brunnhilde the Valkyrie, who is an Asgardian, has taken up many forms. She has the ability to be reincarnated as a mortal or inhabit the souls of mortals.
She is also able to sense when someone is close to death as well as being able to teleport between realms without the use of Bifrost. Brunnhilde is the one responsible for transporting fallen warriors to Valhalla.
Valkyrie's first origin was actually as feminist Samantha Parrington. The villain Enchantress transformed her into a warrior.
The publication noted that this would be "an intriguing end" to "Avengers: Infinity War Part 1." However, this could also be the ending for "Ragnarok."
Meanwhile, another Avenger who might die in the upcoming movie could be Captain America. In Chatt Sports Net's "Avengers: Infinity War" spoilers, the film may be the last time fans will see Captain America, portrayed by Chris Evans, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It was revealed that Evans has been vocal about his aspirations to work behind the camera. Moreover, Marvel has also lined up the possible replacements for Captain America, Winter Soldier Bucky Barnes and Falcon.
"Avengers: Infinity War Part 1" is slated for release on May 4, 2018.
