There are conflicting reports on the highly-anticipated "One Punch Man" season 2 release date. Some say it could come before the rumored October schedule, while other believe that it would be delayed.
Ecumenical News reported that the "One Punch Man" season 2 release date may happen earlier than October, which is believed to be the original airing schedule of the series' upcoming installment. This comes after the English dub of season 1 will be broadcasted on the Cartoon Network.
Apparently, the "One Punch Man" season 2 release date will depend on how well viewers receive the series' English-dubbed version. It is expected that the show's fan base will grow even more with the show airing in Cartoon Network on Saturday, Jul. 16.
Meanwhile, GamenGuide noted that there are fans who do not buy into the news that the "One Punch Man" season 2 release date will arrive earlier. According to them, it is highly likely that the release of the next installment of the series may even be delayed.
It was reported that illustrator Yusuke Murata is currently busy with another project. He is doing a new manga which will be published on Jul. 14.
Crunchyroll reported that Murata's upcoming manga will be featured in the 31st issue of Kodansha's Weekly Morning seinen manga anthology magazine. No title or genre has been announced for the series yet.
Murata is definitely busy with two projects on his plate. This led to speculations that the "One Punch Man" season 2 release date could be moved even further.
However, since his untitled manga is due for release this week, there is still the possibility that he would be able to work on "One Punch Man" season 2 and finish just in time or before the rumored October release date.
Of course, these are all just rumors. Fans are advised to take the news with a grain of salt and continue to wait on official updates from the series' team.
