"Power" was the epic word director Gareth Edwards heard when he listened to the deep and distinctive voice of Darth Vader - or rather James Earl Jones.
Jones recorded his dialogue back in December in New York and receiving the recordings, Edwards felt like it was an "early Christmas present."
Star Wars: Rogue One focuses on a group of rebel fighters on a quest to steal the plans for the Death Star. The film is set to be released in December but Star Wars fans are already gearing up for the release. According to reports, Rogue One is set before Star Wars Episode IV even happened.
Darth Vader's appearance have been hidden from prying eyes and ears. The only information Lucasfilm released was that the Sith Lord is included in the movie. No additional details have been released.
But one thing is for sure, a virtual reality film will be made about Darth Vader and it will be written by David S. Goyer.
Industrial Light & Magic's VR xLab is gearing up for an original Star Wars narrative experience in Virtual Reality mode. Viewers will get to know what it is like living as Darth Vader. What is unique about this project is that the project is an entirely original story within the Star Wars franchise.
Viewers will be able to get an immersive and interactive experience in virtual reality. The project is still unnamed but the Lab is looking to make its vision into a reality. VR users will feel like they are really in the environment they are set in. Virtual reality movies are already being introduced into the market and it will only be a matter of time until Darth Vader talks to you in person - virtually.
Star Wars, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is scheduled to hit theaters on December 16.
