Tim Cook is obviously still finding his own identity in comparison with predecessor Steve Jobs as Apple Inc.'s CEO. But lo and behold, Cook might have even upstaged Jobs term when Cook just recently joined the ever famous car ride with James Corden in an episode of the "Carpool Karaoke" in The Late Late Show With James Corden on Wednesday night.
As simple and well kept as he is, it is a little shock to see Tim Cook belt out to the song of One Republic's "I Lived" and the coolness of it all were even heightened when James Corden asked Pharell Williams to join in, too. Not really a predictable duo, is it? Still, all in all, they hit the tunes to Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" just right.
As if not yet contented, Corden and Williams led Cook into wearing bright and loud dress glasses to probably add more funk to Cook's vibe, reports Nigeria Today. The 2-minute-long video has shown a whole new spectra to the Apple CEO's character. He might be as timid and well-kept during Apple's press launches, in this carpool ride, he has definitely shown a lot of his cooler side.
According to The Telegraph UK, the episode helped Apple to promote its plan on putting up a "Carpool Karaoke" series on Apple Music. However, the fun didn't last long enough as they arrive to a formal event with Cook returning to his crisp, civil self--then tries to coincide the carpool version of him, but decided that he can't by throwing out his funny glasses.
