LinkedIn is making exciting changes to their website

A press release posted on LinkedIn's webiste reported on a redesigned version of the website. Some highlights include new messaging features, a better newsfeed and the new LinkedIn Learning.
The new design aims to put the website in line with its mobile. Vice President for Consumer Product Ryan Roslansky improved the features of the website so it won't look entirely different from the app.
Mashable reported LinkedIn promises easier navigation and a cleaner, feed featuring only the relevant information. They also made a better search feature. LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft, is also going to introduce "bots" for enhanced messaging experiences and to hep users arrange and schedule meetings.
LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner said that they are working with Microsoft for interesting things. He added that this will be made possible by introducing the "Microsoft library of capabilities." Dubbed as "social network for professionals", LinkedIn is also looking at ways to make messaging smarter. They ae also introducing filters which will be useful for those looking for jobs since they can see who belongs to the company they want to work for.
The press release also introduced LinkedIn Learning which integrates the website features with lynda.com's library of educational videos. The Next Web reported that the website has 450 million users but only 25 percent uses the website monthly.
LinkedIn did not disclose the exact date of the release of the redesigned website but it is expected to materialize within the year.
