Shopify will make it a lot easier for small businesses to grow big and more attractive to customers especially those who are into Facebook now that it allows shops to sell directly through Facebook messenger.

In a 30-seconder audio visual presentation of Shopify introducing its newest way to sell products, Shopify began saying that selling has never been easier with Shopify on Messenger.

The new venture works with the "Shop Now" option in the conversation with any Facebook Business Page store using Shopify's Messenger sales channel.

According to TechCrunch, the Show Now option brings up the store's entire product catalog, enabling you to browse through and make a purchase. Purchases are completed via Shopify's checkout portal that is already integrated with the Messenger app.

"Shopify gives your customers the power to browse, and even buy your products directly through Messenger. [You can] connect with your customers instantly," Shopify wrote in their official website.

In addition, the Canadian e-commerce company said that Spopify on Messenger will give customer the easiest way of purchasing and getting automatic order tracking and shipping updates.

TechRadar reported that the new venture will be very helpful to businesses as it allows products and services to be explored, detailed, and purchased entirely within Facebook's messaging app.

"From an end-consumer perspective, it's still pretty novel to think of messaging a business first when you want to interact with them, so that's going to take some time to catch up with some of the interactions that are common in Asia," explained Shopify product manager Brandon Chu in an interview, per TechCrunch. "The outcome is moving to an internet version of what retail used to be, where you walk into a store and share with a merchant some of your problems or the thing that you're looking for."

Chu added that Messenger is a "very good complementary channel" for Shopify's various other channels. This is because Messenger allows to do a number of business related transactions like sending order status receipts to customers. Chu believes that this would lead to a direct relationship for direct purchases purposes.
