Miley Cyrus Parents: Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus Trying to Get Back Together After Hannah Montana Destroyed Family?

Miley Cyrus' parents, Billy Ray and Leticia "Tish" Cyrus, are doing their best to get back together, after they had filed for divorce twice in recent years to break up their 19 years of marriage.
During the first time the couple had filed for divorce, Billy Ray had expressed the reason for the relationship turmoil within the "Hannah Montana" family.
"It destroyed my family. I'll tell you right now—the damn show destroyed my family," Ray had reportedly told New York Daily News in the March 2011 issue.
Miley Cyrus' parents were not both present in the "Hannah Montana" show, a Disney Channel series that spotlighted Miley playing herself, who dresses up in a wig and becomes Hannah Montana, a famous superstar. Billy Ray was the only one who was casted in the show. It was due to this show that Miley Cyrus, who was originally named Destiny Hope Cyrus, rose to prominence.
On June 14, Miley Cyrus' mother filed for divorce the second time due to "irreconcilable differences." The pair, however, have been undergoing couples therapy for the first time in their 22 year relationship and are reportedly trying to resolve those initial "irreconcilable" problems.
"We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together. We both went into couples therapy something we haven't done in 22 years of being together, and it's brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways," said Billy Ray in a recent interview with People.
"Tish also said marriage can be really hard especially after 22 years of being in entertainment. We've had rough times but we both realized we didn't want to be another statistic and wanted to make it work."
Perhaps true love is not always found with the ones where you don't get into arguments and never fight; but true love is found in the ones who fight to get back together afterwards.
