Jerry Kramer, Football Legend, Should be in the Hall of Fame

When Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre was inducted into the 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame, his thoughts were of Jerry Kramer, the man who should be a Pro hall of famer but was not. Favre felt strongly about this odd situation that at his first opportunity, personally told Kramer about his thoughts.
Favre confided to him that since the former was already part of HOF circle, he would find a way to get Kramer's name listed in Canton.
Actually, Favre's thoughts on Kramer's induction were also in the minds of many football fans that have followed the career and outstanding accomplishments of the legendary Gerald Louis "Jerrry" Krame who played for Green Bay Packers as an offensive linesman from 1958 - 1968.
In fact, Green Bay Packers fans have been exerting efforts to get their idol enrolled into the Pro Football Hall of Fame joining with Kramer's daughter, Alicia, who in the last few years, has also been working to have him listed as a Pro hall of famer. Still unable to get results after all these years, Alicia Kramer recently announced that 2017 will be last year that she will work for her father's inclusion in the Hall of Fame.
There is a lingering question as to why Jerry Kramer, a three-time Pro Bowl selection (1962, 1963, 1967), five times First Team member (1960,1962, 1963,1966, 1967), five time NFL champion (1961, 1962, 1965-1967), Super Bowl I and II champion, 1960"s All-Decade team and NFL 50th Anniversary Team member, is being ignored by the Hall of Fame Committee.
Jerry Kramer, now 80 years old, doesn't seem to mind. "So the Hall of Fame would be great, but it's not really the thing I wake up in the morning and worry about. If it comes along, fine. If it doesn't come along, fine. It's been a hell of a ride," he said.
