To all fans who wished Theon Greyjoy pay for his debts since he betrayed Robb Stark back in Season 2 of the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones", your season has come. In the recently leaked photo of Season 7 set, Jon Snow-now hailed as the White Wolf and the King in the North, appeared to be attacking Greyjoy in a most-awaited "reunion".
Greyjoy, portrayed by English actor Alfie Allen, has been spotted doing a scene with a former "brother" from Winterfell, Snow-played by Kit Harrington. As posted by Hollywood Life, the two characters were yesterday photographed in Zumaia, Spain, one of the many sets for the series' upcoming season.
Both characters grew up in Winterfell under House Stark. Snow was known to be the former Warden of the North, Ned Stark's bastard while Greyjoy, at age 10, became a ward to Lord Stark after the iconic Greyjoy Rebellion.
However, it can be recalled in the second season where Robb Stark, who was then proclaimed as the King in the North, ordered Greyjoy to deliver a message and request allegiance to the latter's father-Balon Greyjoy.
But instead of doing what he was told, the younger Greyjoy decided to turn his back to the Starks and reunite with his beloved family. Thinking he could be the Iron Islands' heir, Theon betrayed Stark, which later on became a contributing factor to the heartbreaking death of the latter.
Since then, GoT fans were fueled by rage, wanting to see the traitor punished.
And because of the paparazzi-taken photo on the set, fans were once again re-assured how epic the possible reunion would be. In the picture, Snow ferociously grabbed the impassive Theon. As if trying to receive whatever punishment he deserves for deceiving the Northerners, Allen's character just stood in front of Harrington's.
It seems like much-anticipated epic scenes are in store for the next season. Just recently, Jon Snow was also spotted meeting the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen in possibly Dragonstone. But be it a reunion, battle, connivance, or more death, fans are definitely eager to find out.
