NBA Trade Rumors 2016: Sixers Get Brandon Ingram, Lakers Get Ben Simmons?

The NBA season just got started, but trade rumors have already started to spread all around the league. Lakers forward Brandon Ingram and Sixers forward Ben Simmons could be involved in this seasons' NBA trade rumors 2016.
The two players are the top 2 picks of the 2016 NBA draft with Simmons being drafted first overall and Ingram just behind him. But late in the preseason, Simmons had an injury to his foot while practicing with the Sixers and there is no specific timetable for him to return and play in the regular season. In an NBA article, Simmons said, "I'll come back when I'm ready".
Simmons would most likely miss the 2016-2017 NBA season as Rich Paul, Simmon's agent, stated it. Paul said that he would not allow his client to return even if he is cleared to play. According to Inquisitr, the injury could make him available for trade and teams are now trying to contact the Sixers if he really is. This incident could drag the two players in the NBA trade rumors 2016 picture.
The two teams might involve a few players in the deal adding the Phoenix Suns in the picture as well according to the Parent Herald. It is rumored that the Lakers would get Ben Simmons, while the Sixers get Brandon Ingram, Dragan Bender and Brandon Knight. The Suns would then acquire Nerlens Noel, Lou Williams and the Lakers' 2017 first round pick.
This deal could push through since it meets the standards of the NBA's rules of trade according to ESPN NBA trade machine. This would definitely be a blockbuster trade and could shape the future of the each team.
With the season coming to a start, there are lots of speculations circling the league. These NBA trade rumors 2016 are definitely something to look out for if these rumors would really come true.
