The Far Cry franchise by Ubisoft has taken the gaming world by storm for the past years. It has released game sequels and spin-offs since their first game release back in 2004. The franchise has now released its latest game, Far Cry Primal, which seems to be taking over the gaming world again and people are wondering what makes this game stand out in the franchise.
The Far Cry franchise is best known for its first-person shooting gameplay that puts gamers in foreign and exotic worlds. The series also incorporated some map editing options for players wherein they can create custom maps and share them with others in multiplayer games.
The franchise released its first ever game on 23 Mar. 2004 and got very positive ratings, according to Steam, and from that, they developed a series of games based on the first game. The franchise would then release sequels and some spin-offs from the original game like Far Cry 2, Far Cry 2: Fortune's Edition, Far Cry 3, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Far Cry 4: Season Pass, Far Cry 4 and the latest, which is Far Cry Primal.
According to Gamespot, Far Cry primal was first released in February 2016, and the game would take you back to the stone age. This new addition to the franchise is definitely a unique one compared to the previous games as it brings to life massive beasts, spectacular terrains and unforeseeable encounters with savages.
The game's setting dates back to 10,000 BC and will let you play Takkar, the protagonist, who is searching for his tribe's lost members. In the game, you will be able to tame animals and learn new skills as you defeat enemies and accomplish quests.
Far Cry Primal makes you feel like you are playing an old version of the franchise using prehistoric weapons and without modern equipment. This game is indeed something to lookout for.
