People’s Reaction to Emma Watson's ‘Book on the Underground’ Campaign

Last Nov. 1, Harry Potter's Emma Watson Book Hunt greeted everybody around London Underground Station. In brief, hiding at least 100 copies of Maya Angelou's Mom & Me & Mom in various location. Hence, the flooding positive post in the internet showing appreciation of everybody who found some.
The sensational campaign made headline with the people's reaction, they brought their appreciation of Watson's deed to Twitter. Immediately, the social platform was flooded with comments from the travelers who found one of the hidden books.
According to BBC, one of the Twitter commenter said, @siannusmaximus wrote: "The book fairies get a book wizard. Too fabulous for words." Another describe her feeling as she felt like Charlie Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when she found a book.
Undoubtedly, the people enjoyed Harry Potter's Emma Watson book hunt surprise for them. They were delighted to be able to find a good read while on the road either to go to work or to go to school. Even Cordelia Oxley, director of Books on the Underground can't help to describe the endearment of the crowd for Watson's works.
"The reaction has been phenomenal. It must be a mixture of how much everyone adores Emma, and how exciting it is to find something as wonderful as a new book on your journey."
Meanwhile, Emma's reading scavenge was prompted by her book club, Our Shared Self, campaign. She hid the club's latest November pick in every nook for the passengers to find. Also, the book includes lovely notes by the actress herself such as "take care please" and "book fairies leave their favorite reads.
The Guardian reported that the book club was a product of Watson's efforts as UN Ambassador. Aside from that, she also enjoys reading a lot of books as well as sharing them with everybody. In particular, she shared, "There is so much amazing stuff out there! Funny, inspiring, sad, thought-provoking, empowering! I've been discovering so much that, at times, I've felt like my head was about to explode ... I decided to start a feminist book club, as I want to share what I'm learning and hear your thoughts too."
Now the intelligent woman is not only a wizard but also a book fairy. All in all, the campaign's purpose to leave a legacy of inspiration for everybody.
