NBA Update: DeMarcus Cousins Fined 25K, Possible Trade With Chicago Bulls Revealed
By FG Dullin | Nov 06, 2016 08:13 PM EST
Sacramento Kings principal center player DeMarcus Cousins was fined $25,000 following his two technical fouls in the previous NBA game against Minnesota Timberwolves on October 30, 2016. For the seventh season of his entire basketball career, Cousins already reached 92nd foul in the recent tally.
The Kings won against the Timberwolves in a very close three-point lead, with the final scorecards counting 106-103 respectively. CSN maintains that Cousins reaped the monetary penalty as a corrective call for his untoward display - he walked up to the stands and tossed his mouth guard at the last minute of the game.
Despite their victory, Cousins seemed to be a little bit off when it comes to fully participating in a 'team culture'. Hence, trade rumors begin circulating in light of his possible transfer to other teams.
In a related chronicle by Ecumenical News, Chicago Bulls is one of the NBA teams that have been targeting Cousins. It is believed that the Kings' star player will make a very fine addition to their current upcoming roster. In fact, the Bulls are willing to exchange Denzel Valentine, Nikola Mirotic, and Taj Gibson to get their hands on DeMarcus Cousins.
Despite his foul streak, the key center player for Sacramento Kings is one of the most celebrated players in NBA. The Bulls consider the possibility of getting Cousins on their roster as a potential formula for reviving their once revered championship caliber.
Curiously, Cousins is one of the star players that incumbent teams are also not willing to trade off with others. Miami Heat's remaining Big Three superstar, Chris Bosh, is 'vigilantly' locked in the team roster regardless of the questionable possibility of his return to NBA this season (or ever again).
The initial days of the 2016-2017 Season are still ripe for team-switching. It still remains to be seen whether or not Sacramento Kings will keep Cousins until the end.
