Kobe Bryant Life After NBA: Next Chapter Continues As Nike Unveils Black Mamba’s Post Career Sneakers

Michael Jordan set the bar pretty high on the basketball court, and set it equally high at retail stores with his massively popular post-career Jordan brand shoe line. And now Nike is launching a footwear that could potentially take the future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant down the same path, with the release of his post career shoe line.
On the court he just retired but off the court that's his next chapter. Mamba Mentality - the self belief that Kobe displayed during his days playing in the NBA, he was nicknamed "The Black Mamba" because of his killer instinct, the graceful snake like movement and the attitude of never giving up in the game of basketball.
The next chapter is Kobe Bryant's post retirement Sneakers. The namesake, the Nike Kobe A.D, could perhaps be a Biblical homage to Anno Domini, meaning the aftermath of the death of Kobe's playing career.
The Nike Kobe A.D. features a flashy iridescent heel plate with a hidden Zoom Air which brings added stability and protection. A mesh upper is aided by lockdown support through additional Dynamic Flywire.
A new Flyease lacing system with a unique wheel located on the side to help and stabilize control of tightness. Nike seems to stick to their "Battle Grey" theme which they have used for all of their premier athletes to start the season.
A DNA logo is stitched onto the heel of the shoe in honor of the "Mamba Mentality" that Kobe displayed and still does outside the court. This also is being carried by all athletes in the league.
The Nike Kobe AD sneakers will arrive at select retailers and on Nike.com on November 22 at 10a.m. EST for $160 USD.The Mamba is coming just in time for the holiday season. Mamba Out!
