A "Big Bang Theory" spin-off about the childhood of Sheldon Cooper is already on the works, it is in the early stages of development. It is reported that Jim Parsons has a behind-the scenes role in the show. Despite this, the show's network CBS still remains mum about the spin-off.
According to Fox News, the network already has picked up the series. It is reported that the spinoff is a product of Chuck Lorre and Steve Molaro, show runners of the "Big Bag Theory."
The site also reported that Bill Prady, one of the show's creators, will be part of the spin-off show. The show's creator is currently on its 10th season, even though, the 11th season is still awaiting confirmation.
USA Today reported the two shows can exist in the same schedule. Glenn Geller, President of CBS Entertainment, said that he would be delighted if "Big Bang Theory" would go beyond Season 10.
It is also reported that the actors are happy to continue doing the series. Parsons explained to the news site that talking about ending seemed premature.
He said that if the writers remain inspired with what they have he would be happy to continue the series. Parson stressed that the scripts are a pleasure to act out.
Things seemed to be going well for Jim Parsons but a previous report about Kaley Cuoco, does not seem to agree with this. It is reported that Cuoco is causing a delay on the production of the show's Season 11.
She is not happy with the attention Melissa Raunch's Bernadette character is getting. Cuoco has been lobbying for her character Penny to be pregnant to but the show's creators will not have it.
She has not officially denied or confirmed this allegation. The "Big Bang Theory" is currently on its 8th episode.
