Many Hollywood stars celebrated the marijuana legalization in California. On Tuesday night, numerous stars posted on their Twitter account expressing their gratitude on the said legalization.
A report asserts that marijuana legalization in California was declared on Tuesday, November 8. On the said report, the legalization of marijuana in California is a reflection of the country's changing attitude toward the drug. On the other hand, Massachusetts and Nevada also declared marijuana legalization on Tuesday.
According to HollywoodLife.com, a source close to the "Wrecking Ball" singer was happy knowing that the use of marijuana in California is now legal. "Miley Cyrus is very sad with the election turnout, but the one thing that is making her day a little better is the fact that Marijuana is legal in California.
She is all about it and is very excited that California is progressive and making things a little easier for her and other people that want to enjoy the benefits of marijuana." On the other hand, Snoop Dog, Morgan Spurlock, Lisa Rinna and other Hollywood celebrities reacted on marijuana legalization via Twitter.
According to the report, the population of the said states in which marijuana is legal increased up to 20%. Marijuana legalization supporters called it as a ''major victory for California''. Though, health experts warn that the use of marijuana can cause harm in our health condition, supporters on the said legalization still increase.
On the other hand, California sees that marijuana legalization may decrease the percentage of arrested minorities due to social justice and criminal justice issues. As reportedly, residents of the said states could buy an ounce of marijuana for recreational purposes which are 21 years old and above.
