"Civilization 6" has been out for a few weeks now and the reception has been phenomenal. The game has gotten some improved graphics and smoother play. 'Civilization 6' has also gotten a big gameplay overhaul that does not veer away from what made the classics great but manages to make the decades old game even better.
However, some players are finding some of the changes a little much in terms of winning. It is true that 'Civilization 6' manages to be more tactical and strategic than all its previous games. So for those gamers who are in a bit of a rut when it comes to winning, here are some tips on how gamers can win fast in "Civilization 6."
Beef Up Your Military
Per Game N Guide, One great strategy that players did in "Civilization 5" is focusing on workers while defending the city lightly. This is going to be a bad strategy in "Civilization 6" as other civs tend to be more aggressive. Make sure to build your military first before anything.
Choose The Race Wisely
Players should always play to their strengths. Some races offer different bonuses and abilities than others. Here is a short list from Jobs & Hire about some of the different civilizations and their varying abilities, structures, and units.
Think Hard Where You Settle
Where to place your city is now as important as ever in "Civilization 6." Gamers need to look at the surroundings and terrain and map out what the player want this city to be like. Here is an in depth guide from EuroGamer on where players should place different districts, buildings, and wonders to maximize them through bonuses.
Have all your city perform different types of tasks. While cities located at the center could become your military base have another near shorelines that can become your navy and gather water resources. Once you have done this, have your other cities focus on culture, trade, and gold and just have the military cities supply them with troops.
