"Passengers" lead stars Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence recently appeared on Ellen Degeneres' show to promote their movie. And during the interview, the actress revealed she felt kind of "miserable" after seeing her co-star's happy family.
With previous reports from JobsnHire, Oscar-nominated director Morten Tyldum says the movie showed Pratt and Lawrence's chemistry and even called them a "balanced pair". And in their recent guesting on Ellen, it was even mentioned that the 37-year-old actor is kind of a male version of Lawrence to which the 26-year-old actress teasingly replied that she is flattered but admitted that Pratt was more hardworking than she is. During the interview, the chemistry between these two great actors is just undeniable.
But Lawrence eventually admitted that she somehow felt "miserable" when Pratt's family visited their set in Atlanta. "They're like in love. They look like a Nicholas Sparks novel. You know when you see people who are so happy, it just makes you miserable," the actress teased.
Meanwhile, Lawrence was also visited on set by her grandparents. And both of them didn't know Pratt is also a famous actor in Hollywood. They thought he was a stunt dance man.
Another interesting part of the show, as reported by Huffington Post, was when Pratt and Lawrence played the hilarious "5-second Rule" of Ellen. Within five seconds, the player needs to name three things in accordance with the category to beat the opponent.
During the game, the on-screen lovers revealed which body parts they think are sexiest. Pratt goes, "lungs, nipples, and feet" and everyone bursts into laughter. Don't you think it was a great combination?
On the other hand, Lawrence answered, "upper back, biceps" and struggled a little with öbliques because she forgot the term. Clearly, the movie director was right about the two being a balanced pair on and off the screen. "Passengers" is a sci-fi love story to be released on December 21.
