Fox is rumored to cancel its drama series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 after a drastic drop in viewer ratings. It seems that Detective Jake Peralta and his NYPD team can't get enough fans to keep the series going. There aren't any confirmations yet about the issue but can the series make a come back? With low ratings, it's hard to tell.
The fourth installment of the series aired in September and was expected to be a success ,but in a report by Parent Herald, the drama kept on getting lower ratings. "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 dropped its ratings to 30.26 since it last aired it's previous season.
One it's fifth episode, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 only gained 0.98 on its average rating. The season drastically dropped its ratings to 18.84 percent which means that its viewership is now only at 2.260 million.
If fans want to keep "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 going, then they might need to convince some of their friends to watch the show. TV shows and series are fueled by advertisements from companies to keep it going, so if ratings drop, these companies stop.
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 still has a chance of making a comeback. With eight episodes left, there is still hope for fans to see their favorite detectives take on dangerous cases.
Episode 6 of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 would air on Nov.15 on Fox. Some spoilers revealed that Detective Jake Peralta will take on a dangerous case along with Sergeant Terry Jeffords. They'll be unraveling the mystery behind the death threats to a famous author. Terry will also have the chance of meeting the author who is his long-time hero.
