"South Park" video games are all about great fun and explosive gags, so there was a bit of skepticism when Ubisoft unveiled the "Nosulus Rift," which is something the company dubs as virtual reality taken to the next level. So if a gamer likes to take those "South Park" fart jokes to the extreme, then the "Nosulus Rift" is worth checking out.

This sounds like a bad April fools joke but according to the company's official website, the device is actually real. According to New Atlas, the "Nosulus Rift" is a wearable tech that sits quite sung on your nose. At first glance, the device looks quite sleek and actually not that cheap looking. A far cry from its intended use, which is to send a foul smell up the nose in sync to when your "South Park" character has to let one rip.

As per Tech Times, the new tech by Ubisoft has been tested and approved by those who got their hands (or noses) on it. One such reviewer has been quoted as saying,"I'd just started playing the game when it came to my nose. I've never felt anything so strong before. The fart stinks so real! Best immersive experience ever."

The tech is an obvious play to the popular virtual headset called the "Oculus Rift." This definitely sounds like an utter waste of great technology. But in some ways, the whole thing really reeks of "South Park" genius which is something fans have come to expect from the franchise.

According to Jobs & Hire, a lot of companies are now trying to break into the virtual reality market for different applications. While this device might be off-putting for some, it is just "South Park" doing its job be making fun of this technology phenomenon. The downside is that fans may not get their noses on the device as it could be for promotional purposes only.
