There are rumors of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5 getting canceled after the series is done with it's 4th season. There were speculations that Fox would cancel the show due to the current season's low ratings. But it seems that fans would get a sigh of relief as Sergeant Terry Sanders and Detective Jake Peralta might still continue cracking cases in the next season.
According to Premier Date, there are no confirmations about the exact release date of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 5 but Fox has always made a pattern of releasing the series. In a list made by EPGuides ,Seasons 1, 2,3 and 4 were all aired in the month of September and there is a big possibility that the 5th installment would air on the same month as well.
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 has been struggling recently to get some viewers. Since the first episode of the 4th season aired, the ratings have been decreasing and it seems that it's going to be that way for the remaining episodes. Episode 1 had 2.389 million viewers and it dropped with episode 4 only getting 2.053 million viewers.
But according to Game N Guide, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 will still keep on airing its remaining episodes for November. The Emmy Award winning series has been pushing through to satisfy its fans and it appears that it's doing a good job. Episode 7 which is entitled "Mr.Santiago" will air on Nov. 22 and Episode 8 which is "Skyfire Circle" will air on Nov.29.
With the next two episodes of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 4 all set to air this month, it would definitely keep on airing and finish the whole season with more episodes. According to Release Date, despite its low ratings and speculations of the show getting canceled, the show would most likely return because of the current season's brilliant performance.
