'Justice League Dark' Air Date, Cast, News & Update: Aidan Turner Will Play The Role of Etrigan The Demon?

Another upcoming sci-fi film from DC comics, "Justice League Dark" created by Peter Milligan will be heading to theaters next year. Starring Matt Ryan, Jason O'Mara, Camilla Ludington and Nicholas Turturo who would play the role of the lead characters of the said sci-fi movie.

In comic books, the original "Justice League Dark" characters were John Constantine, Madame Xanadu, Deadman, Shade, The Changing Man and Zatanna. Each team members consists of supernatural powers, handling situations deemed unfit for the traditional "Justice League."

Rumors were circulating online that "Poldark" actor, Aidan Turner would be playing the role of 'Etrigan the Demon', a demon from hell who usually found himself allied to the forces of good despite of his violent tendencies, in "Justice League Dark".

According to Movie News Guide, certain reason of Aidan Turner's personality perfectly fit for the role of Etrigan the Demon's character in "Justice League Dark". Aidan was known to his character as Captain Ross Poldark in the series of the historical novels of Winston Graham, "Poldark". On the other hand, he was also known as 'Kili', one of the most active dwarves of Thorin's company in "The Hobbit".

Etrigan the Demon is a superhero and anti-hero who has a bit character of dark side. With Aidan portraying the role, he would be able to explore the darkness as well as to bring uniqueness to the character in "Justice League Dark".

If Aidan Turner would play the role of Etrigan the Demon in "Justice League Dark", there's a possibility that his ''would be'' character could established an unconventional superhero, thus giving his character an edge over other superheroes.

There were no confirmation yet it the said rumors were true. Furthermore, it was reported by Coming Soon that "Justice League Dark" will be released digitally on January 24, 2017 and February 7, 2017 on DVD and Blu-ray.
