Israel Keyes who killed himself in December approximately nine months after being arrested for the slaying of a barista admitted to seven other killings, authorities say.

A statement issued by the FBI Monday afternoon indicated that agents just added three more people killed by Keyes totaling to 11 individuals. Records show that the killer went from Vermont to Washington to slay people.

Keyes also traveled abroad, reports say and the FBI asked the public to share anything they know about Keyes' travels. He went to Belize, Canada, and Mexico and it is not known if the killer committed homicides while abroad.

According to the FBI, Keyes resided in upstate New York for a time. He also "reported several trips to Montreal in which he sought out prostitutes."

The FBI released a map of Keyes' travels Tuesday in a bid to get tips from people who have met the man. Pins on the map indicate the location of the killer on certain dates. The map is very comprehensive and the dates go as far back as 1997.

On March 1, 2005 for instance, Keyes went on a "Day canoe trip to unspecified location; spotted camping at location only accessible by boat - Washington state," according to the interactive map.

Jolene Goeden of the FBI told CNN, "If we have a missing person identified in a particular area, we work closely with that local police department to either connect the person to Keyes or not." Goeden added in a statement, "We have his DNA."

A police officer from Anchorage, Alaska described Keyes, a contractor and army veteran, as a murder addict. Detective Monique Doll told reporters last December that Keyes "was very careful to sa he had not patterned himself after an other serial killer."
