Fans of the NBC's psycho-thriller "Hannibal" are still clamoring for the canceled Season 4 of the show. The cancellation of the season was due to low of ratings that the show has received during its run time and the constant change of air date schedules. But it seems that the season is bound to continue and on its way back to NBC timeslot.
According to What Culture the creator of the show, Bryan Fuller, has originally planned the show to run and have "Hannibal" Season 4 up to 7. After the cancellation, rumors suggest that plans for the fourth season will be starting up again in August 2017. Bryan Fuller will still examine the actors who can reprise the roles and the production team can have a talk about how they are gonna continue the story after the gap that has been made and the possible storyline of the season and more.
Nick Antosca, the co-writer for the show, was asked about how the proposed story of the psychological thriller will go in its upcoming fourth season. He answered "I can't speak in detail, but I have heard the conversations about what the fourth season would be," he then continued "And I know that Bryan has a very kind and clear of brilliant idea of what he would do in the season 4 of the show," GameNGuide has reported.
The stars of the show, Mads Mikkelsen, Gillian Anderson, and Hugh Dancy admitted and expressed their interest in reprising their roles despite their own different projects. As when Bryan then revealed that he already has a plot for the season 3 of the show, everyone is excited and even the former stars of the show are open to going to the show if everyone will be with it.
Fuller has been asking the Netflix and Amazon Video to pick up the show but there is still no successful deals that are made. Back in 2013, where "Hannibal" first debuted on tv, its first two seasons won the Saturn Awards for Best Network Television Series.
