'Mortal Kombat X' Kombat Pack 3 Release Date & Update: Development Of Third DLC Lies On The Shoulders of 'Injustice 2'

"Mortal Kombat X" has avid fans waiting for the highly-anticipated Kombat Pack 3, which will include new characters and more. The DLC was previously delayed to make way for "Injustice 2," however, there are new reports that claim it is now postponed.
The 10th installment of NetherRealm Studios' ever popular video game "Mortal Kombat" is due for its third DLC. Kombat Pack 3 is said to contain additional characters including Baraka, Noob Saibot, Rain, and Fukin. The fact that Baraka is part of the upcoming DLC fans the flames of excitement in the hearts of the fans.
In a previous report from Parent Herald, NetherRealm Studios decided to delay Kombat Pack 3 in order to focus on "Injustice 2." Fans, although quite disappointed, accepted the fact that it will take longer before they can get their hands on the DLC. As a consolation, "Injustice 2" does feature some fan-favorite characters including Sub-Zero, Hellboy, Terminator, and Buffy.
However, recent reports on "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3 reveals even more devastating news. According to Movie News Guide, Kombat Pack 3 is now postponed without any announcement on when the DLC will continue development. This has fans heartbroken as there is confirmation on when Kombat Pack 3 will be continued. Rumors have started spreading that it is canceled altogether.
NetherRealm Studios did not leave fans out in the cold, though. There is still a small light of hope for those waiting for "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3. One source claims that Kombat Pack 3's release date will be determined by the success of "Injustice 2."
