This will prove as good news to the console players as they initially thought that the game will issue its patch for PS4 players after the Xbox One exclusive30-day release of the Survival Expansion that will be a few days after December 20.
Ubisoft explained that before they announce an additional content for "The Division". They are aiming to perfect the gaming experience first by be fixing bugs, thus the 1.5 patch, making it as flawless as possible before introducing new contents.
According to GamenGuide the "The Division" developers Massive, is saying that the reason for the delay is not because it is not ready yet which proved to be true considering that the PC and Xbox One is now playing the improved version of the game through the 1.5 patch. Massive had done their part and is basically passed the baton to Sony to have the final say for the release.
"The Division" 1.5 update not only addressed the previous bugs of the game but also includes an expansion which we can look forward to. Reports say that among the new thing that will be introduced will be the named gear pieces that come with unique names and talent.
Tom Clancy's "The Division" game has recently undergone serious hate and bashing from players as they found lots of different bugs and issues that lowered their gaming satisfaction to zero. To save the game from further humiliation Ubisoft went on huge steps to fix the game by putting up a series of updates, offline updates and more server fixing issues. Hopefully, the 1.5 patch will be the savior to the game's current state.
