"Final Fantasy XV" is scheduled to launch on November 29, 2016, but other fans are able to play it already, thanks to several copies already available in some countries. Square-Enix has already provided a day one patch for the game that players would need to download as it provides added story to help understand the game.
According to Gadgets 360, "Final Fantasy XV" would instantly require players to update to version 1.01, which is roughly 7 GB, that includes a fix for several bugs and technical performances. But the real reason why players would need to upgrade to the new patch is the added narrative that it provides.
The day one patch provides new cutscenes and an example of it is the title screen scene that players will get to view before "Final Fantasy XV's" opening section. The new cutscene would allow players to understand the events that lead up to the opening section.
IGN reports that the cutscenes are taken from "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" and the "Omen Trailer." The story enhancements allow new players, who will be playing the game for the first time, understand more the story and the timeline of events.
Aside from story enhancements, the day one patch also increases the different recipes that are available and allows players to call monsters into battle through the ability called "Beast Whistle." The game will also have an improved camera that will provide better battle visibility, especially in tight spaces.
Players will also have the ability to upload and share in-game photos to Facebook and Twitter. Prompto will be taking photos of the players' journey in the "Final Fantasy XV."
With Square-Enix already releasing the day one patch ahead of "Final Fantasy XV's" official release, goes to show how serious the company is in making sure the game lives up to the players' expectations. And with the game already receiving positive reviews from those who were able to play it already, November 29 can't get here soon enough.
