Amber Heard and Johnny Depp resolved their divorce issues via a $7 million settlement which the actress decided to donate to charity. It was reported that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor wants to make the pay off direct to the chosen beneficiaries.
Previous reports say that the money was already donated but the latest update says that she has not made any donation yet. What is the truth and what caused the delay?
Wet Paint reported that initially, the actor has paid out $200,000 each for ACLU domestic violence unit and the Children's Hospital. However, the "Justice League" actress was not pleased with the way things are going.
She does not want her ex-husband to get a tax credit for the money to be paid off to charity. The final signing of the divorce papers will happen this week. That will be the time the full amount is settled.
Seeing the potential conflict, Amber Heard might take the money and will award the same to her chosen beneficiaries. Will she donate the full amount as publicized?
Meanwhile, her name is linked to big-time entrepreneur, Elon Musk. The Tesla Motors owner was deeply infatuated with the actress years ago as per Movie News Guide.
He met her during the filming of the movie "Machete Kills" but did not get the chance to talk to her. He then emailed the film director Robert Rodriguez to arrange a meeting for them. On the first set date, she did not come. She was married to Johnny Depp at that time.
Last March his wife filed for divorce again after he retrieved the papers on his first attempt at divorce in 2012. Elon Musk and Heard were reportedly hanging out several times during the past months. But the actress informed that they are just good friends.
