1,300 Coliseum Jobs Now Hiring In New York; Details On Online Application For Bartender, Server, Cooks & More

A massive hiring is taking place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum presented by New York Community Bank. In a joint effort to haul in enough people to train before the grand re-opening, the management is looking to hire 1,300 people to work as Bartenders, Concessionaires, servers and more.
Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment, the Coliseum Management Team and the Nassau County are working hand in hand to contract AEG Facilities and Levy Restaurants to look for people to hire. In a statement from BSE, it is noted that they are looking for 1,300 new hires for posts such as Bartenders, box office ticket sellers, Concession stand workers, cooks, maintenance workers and servers.
According to Long Island Business News, the Department of Labor's Employment and Workforce Solutions is already providing the recruiting and screening services for this mass hiring event for the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. While Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment officials are reaching out to local community groups and the like to spread the word about this great job opportunity.
It is worth mentioning that all interested parties must submit an online application form that can be found at the official website for Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Applicants who pass the initial process will be interviewed at job fairs that will take place in January and proceed with training by March. As for the training, successful candidates will be trained by the Disney Institute who are known to train staff of the same profession.
Moreover, the hiring of workers at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum will give first considerations to those who are residents at Uniondale. Looking back, the venue went through a $260 million renovation and now looks stunning and more accommodating.
The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum boasts 14,500 seats for concerts, 13,500 for basketball games and 13,000 for hockey matches.
