Tom Hiddleston News & Updates: ‘Thor Ragnarok’ Actor Slated To Play On ‘Hard Boiled’ and ‘James Bond’?

"Thor: Ragnarok" actor Tom Hiddleston to play another comic book character in "Hard Boiled." Hiddleston might be bulking up in preparation for "James Bond" role.
Warner Bros. has been in negotiations to produce the 90's comic book. The corporation has been eyeing Hiddleston to play the lead role with Ben Wheatley as the director. Wheatley has worked with Hiddleston on "High Rise" and "Thor Ragnarok."
"Hard Boiled" is a comic book mini-series from Dark Horse Comics that is set in a dystopian Los Angeles. It follows the story of Carl Seltz, a married insurance investigator who finds out that he is a cyborg tax collector named Nixon. Seltz goes into a mission with the help of Unit Two to save robots from human slavery, Blastr reported.
The site reported that this has not been the first time "Hard Boiled" was tried to be produced. David Fincher and Nicholas Cage tried to produce the movie in 2001.
Aside from that Hiddleston, has been rumored to be preparing for "James Bond." Foods 4 Better Health reported that the "Thor: Ragnarok" actor is one of the most prominent contender to play the infamous role.
Hiddleston is preparing for the role by getting into a proper shape. He had a special diet plan and workout routine to play the MI6 agent.
This didn't go unnoticed as his new physique already caught the attention of the executives who has is no greatly considering him for the role. Tom Hardy will be his main contender and not Idris Elba as everyone thinks, the site concluded.
Jobs & Hire previously reported that Daniel Craig will be living the "James Bond" franchise. He was rumored saying that "he'd rather slash his wrist than reprise his role as Agent 007." Caterina Murino, a former Bond girl, defended Craig by saying that the actor could not handle the pressure, that's the reason why he is quitting.
As of to date, there has been no official reports who will play as Agent 007 in "James Bond" or Carl Seltz in "Hard Boiled." One thing's for sure though Tom Hiddleston will be gracing the movie screens in "Kong: Skull Island" on March 10, 2017.
