'One Piece Film: Gold' News & Updates: Theatrical Release In United States And Canada!

This coming January 10 of 2017, FUNimation will launch its new movie from one of the most anticipated anime series of all time "One Piece." The upcoming movie is going to be first released on United States and Canada, it was announced that it will have English dubs.
As per Game N Guide the movie was first announced in Japan following the broadcast of "One Piece: Episode of Sabo," it has also stated that "One Piece Film: Gold" is the 13th movie of the "One Piece" anime. It took a box office hit of 5.11 billion Yen which is approximately 45.5 million in US Dollar.
It is set to venture on Gran Tesoro an independent country, it was said to be home of the world's greatest entertainment city. The movie starts with the Staw Hat Pirates unwavering curiosity of the said country.
In this movie upon visiting Gran Tesoro, Monkey D. Luffy and his crew will encounter Gild Tesoro the country's leader, he is known for having enormous and uncountable riches which he has been using to bribe pirates and even the government. Gild Tesoro plans on conquering the pirate world by using his wealth, unfortunately that will be stopped by the Straw Hat Pirates no matter the cost.
Is there a possible prequel that has already been released?
Yes, there is a prequel to "One Piece Film: Gold," it is entitled "One Piece Film: Heart of Gold" which was released free to the public. It contains the background story on how the Straw Hat Pirates found out about the country of Gran Tesoro.
The "One Piece Film Gold" is probably one of the top anime in the international arena. And up to now this movie is still getting more and more popular, probably after sailing to the United States and Canada, they will take more box office hits and earn probably twice as much when they released it in Japan.
