Jake Paul achieved tremendous success in his career. Like everybody else, he has his own struggles before enjoying the success he has right now. He overcame bullying and with positive self –affirmation, he set his goals and stick to them.
Jake Joseph Paul started out on social media before he made it to Hollywood and into the business world.He started uploading videos on social media in 2013. Jake was first known for his 6-second on the video application Vine with over 5 million followers. He has 1.3 million followers on his "Jake Paul Musical.ly" account.
In 2015, Jake was cast as “Dirk” alongside Madison Hu and Olivia Rodrigo on Disney Channel's Bizaardvark.He was also cast as “Lance” in the first YouTube Red Original Movie Dance Camp and "Dugan" in the FOX Digital movie Mono.
So how did he made the transition from Social media to Hollywood to Entrepreneurship?He accumulated millions of followers from his social media platforms.From there,he enrolled in acting lessons and went to auditions.
Because of his talent and built-in audience,he made it to Hollywood.Jake Paul then decided to enter the business world.He created a successful social media label called “Team 10”,helping other social media talents to accumulate millions of followers.
In an interview with Forbes,he was asked what are his top 3 pieces of career advice.Paul answered:
1. Work hard. If you’re working hard, success will come regardless.
2. Surround yourself with like-minded people.This will push your limits and create friendly competition which will make working harder easier.
3. Consistency. You have to keep pushing. Whether its making videos or going on auditions, if you are consistent you will be successful.
