Hillary Clinton Surprises 'Roar' Singer Katy Perry and Presents an Award at UNICEF Gala

Ever since the US election started, Katy Perry is one of the biggest supporter of Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton. Now, it's time to return the favor; Former US State Secretary surprises Perry at UNICEF Gala.
Last Tuesday in New York City, the Democratic candidate presented an award to Perry which is the UNICEF's Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award. On the Annual Snowflake Gala, Clinton said that; she have spend some time with the "Roar" singer, and she knows that Perry cares for the world and can make it a better place. She have seen the commitment of Perry on what she believes. She further added; Perry can understand the problems of the world and can pull the people together to solve all of these, a report from Entertainment Weekly.
Perry accepted the award with tears in her eyes, she even joked and asked for a tissue. In her speech, she praised the Democratic candidate by saying; she lit the voice inside of her. And thanked Clinton for her incredible works, and for motivating millions of people.
Before the election ends its countdown, Perry performed her hit song "Roar" at the stage in Philadelphia wearing her American Flag dress, and a coat which screams "I'm with Madam President." And then, she encourage the people to vote and support Clinton.
There are also other celebrities who supported Clinton like, Ariana Grande who was terrified with the result, Chris Evans, the couple Beyonce and Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Demi Lovato. After Clinton lost the Presidential battle, being an avid supporter, Perry tweeted her dismay on the result like; "We will never be silenced," and "Power to the people, we will never be silenced," news from Jobs & Hire.
This is the second public of Clinton since November 8 after conceding to New US-President Donald Trump. On the other hand, Perry attended the Snowflake Gala with her parents and her boyfriend Orlando Bloom.
