'Black Panther' World Of Wakanda Cast, Release Date & Update: First Black Superhero Joins Marvel's Cinematic Universe; Plot Based On True Story

One of the newest additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the "Black Panther" movie whose release date is inching closer and closer. The plot the movie shall follow is based on real life events with characters portrayed by award-winning actors.
Marvel's upcoming superhero film "Black Panther" has built an amazing hype for itself as its release date comes closer, especially with the promising cast the movie has lined-up. One of the film's key characters will be played by Academy Award winner Angela Bassett who is known for her role in the hit television series "American Horror Story."
Angela Bassett will play the role of Ramonda in the upcoming "Black Panther" movie which is slated for release on July 6, 2018. Ramonda is a mother to T'challa the Black Panther in the upcoming film addition to Marvel's Cinematic Universe. Bassett is known to take her roles to heart and study the character to root in order to effectively portray the role as reported by Comic Verse.
Other notable cast members participating in the upcoming Marvel film "Black Panther" are Oscar winners Lupita Nyong'o, Forrest Whittaker, Daniel Kaluuya and Danai Gurira. Some names may be familiar to fans, especially Gurira for her role as Michonne in the hit series "The Walking Dead."
Aside from the powerful cast that the producers have lined up for the upcoming "Black Panther" film, fans are also assured that the story the movie will tell will be just as promising. According to Game N Guide, "Black Panther" will have a story that is based on real life events.
Finally, another factor that makes "Black Panther" an exceptionally special film is its shining all-black cast. Nearly all the characters that will be present in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film are black. It seems that the movie aims to prove that race and color should no longer be an ongoing issue in today's society.
