Katt Williams reportedly gave an envelope containing ten $100 bills to a woman in wheelchair after crying "tears of joy", since this was the first time she laughed after learning she needed a new kidney.

The comedian-actor-rapper was in Boston for a show when security saw the woman crying and seated on a wheelchair. Katt Williams then asked the woman to be brought backstage and there she was handed an envelope containing $1,000. She thought it was marijuana at first and upon seeing its contents, she refers to it as an "awesome surprise".

Katt Williams may be giving away money but it's been reported that he's been having problems with his taxes for a while now. According to TMZ, Katt paid a total sum of $284,000 in federal back taxes but reports say Williams still owes a lot of dough, including $3.2 million in taxes from 2008 and another $829,352 in 2009.

Katt is no stranger no misdemeanors. Just last April, he reportedly served 90 days of community service after leading the police for a chase down through Sacramento, in which he assaulted a Target store employee. The video of the attack went viral and it's a case Katt WIlliams has recently been tried for.

The 39-year old performer was asked to pay $200 in total fine and was banned in the Woodland Target branch where he hit employee Forrest Liebenber. He will also serve a one year informal probation and is barred from getting any close to Liebenber. Apart from that, he is also banned from holding firearms for 10 years, after reports of Katt Williams stealing a handgun.

"At some point you have to take responsibility for the mistakes and let everybody move on," Williams says after his hearing last April.

The comedian also appeared in Scary Movie and First Sunday.
