Sony hinted during the E3 press conference in June 2016 that the "God of War 4" is underway. Following the announcement, a gameplay trailer has been released for the "God of War" players and PS4 users.
In the "God of War" gameplay trailer, it features a different world from the usual medieval setting of the game. An imposingly full-bearded Kratos is featured with a kid as they seemed to be on a hunting venture. Kratos encounters hulking beasts where he uses his ax, allowing the kid to fight with him.
It was previously reported that the "God of War" is following the original concept of David Jaffe, the original creator. With the obvious development of the game, it seemed like it has turned into a Norse Mythology. It was also reiterated that fans will likely see Kratos in further series.
In fact, the developer plots out a new series game for Kratos, and this will be the beginning of it. Details were shortly revealed, but they made sure that "God of War" players will get to see more of Kratos in the succeeding games.
Meanwhile, Cory Barlog, the game director, revealed that the new "God of War" will unlikely be a multi-player game. Den of Geek reported that the multi-player concept of the game is not considerable in this game due to lacking depths of a multi-player mode.
Though there was indefinite information disclosed, fans are anticipating for an earlier release of the fourth installment. According to Yibada, there's a high possibility that the game will be released sometime in December 2017.
Fans wouldn't have to worry because it was cleared out that the character will not be on a usual escort mission. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether the kid will be in a direct combat function or more of a secondary element.
It was observed that the gameplay was somewhat different from the first trilogy with its newly-enhanced features. Fans may particularly expect a new setting and a better version of the previous game installments.
The "God of War 4" players seemed to be excited in the new game perspective and fast-paced combat style. What are your thoughts about the new "God of War" game?
