Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult -both 23 - couldn't seem to stay exes, so now that they are back in each other's arms, the couple is more than glad to show how affectionate they are in public through a reported PDA-filled picnic on Aug. 20, Tuesday, at Montreal's La Fontaine Park.
According to E! News, the "X-men" co-stars were spotted cozying up together over a casual picnic. Clothed in casual tank tops and shorts, they held each other's hands while they were walking towards the area where they were seen sharing some Champagne and eating a salad later on.
Sources added that Lawrence was flipping through "The Hunger Games - Mokingjay" while Hoult used his iPad as they rested the lazy afternoon away. Photographs even showed Lawrence resting her head on Hoult's abdomen.
The rekindling of their romance was allegedly a product of their reunited characters in "X-Men: Days of Future Past," that began filming mid-April this year in Canada, and is due to open in 2014. Lawrence is to reprise her role as the shape-shifting mystique while Hoult, as the young Beast. Alongside them are a powerful group big names including Halle Berry, James McAvoy, Peter Dinklage, Hugh Jackman, Ian Mckellan, Michael Fassbender, and Patrick Stewart, confirmed Director Bryan Singer.
The two appeared at Comic-Con International along with the other cast members in July, and they were also spotted at the comic-book movie's exclusive wrap party in Montreal.
A witness told People magazine that Lawrence and Hoult looked more like a couple at the party and not two people who have called it quits, adding that despite not being to showy and affectionate, they appeared as though they were having a date.
"He is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I'm his best friend, too. He's my favorite person to be around and he makes me laugh harder than anybody," Lawrence maintained. "We can eat Cheetos and watch beach volleyball and we turn into perverted Homer Simpsons, like, 'Oh, she's got a nice ass.' I never thought we'd have such different opinions on asses."
The two fast-rising Hollywood stars had dated for two years before ending their relationship last January. The split was reportedly in time with Lawrence's rounds of recognitions for 'Silver Linings Playbook.'
