"Pokemon GO" updates are coming in as quick as Deoxys. The latest update from "Pokemon GO" developer, Niantic, would allow Pokemon trainers to transfer multiple Pokemon at a time to Professor Willow. Niantic also confirmed that it is releasing new Pokemon come December 12, 2016.
According to Polygon, the much-awaited patch will make transferring of Pokemon easier since trainers are now allowed to transfer more than one Pokemon at once. Gone were the days when trainers had to go to each Pokemon and "run through the menu options one at a time."
As stated in the official blog of the "Pokemon GO" Team, the game is now updated to version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS device. Beside the new transferring protocol, the blog states that "Pokemon type icons have been added to the Gym battle approach and Gym battle screen." This means trainers will be able to see what type of Pokemon his opponent is fielding.
Another feature added with the newest update is that the Pokemon trainers would get a single candy by sending Pokemon to Professor Willow. For those uninitiated to "Pokemon GO," collecting, stacking, and using these candies will allow trainers to evolve or power up their Pokemon.
In other news, the "Pokemon GO" team issued another statement in their official blog welcoming Sprint as the games' first US partner. In the said blog, the "Pokemon GO" team encourages fans of the game to keep a keen eye on their social media channels on December 12. While the "Pokemon GO" team issued a disclaimer that they cannot yet divulge information, they stated that trainers should wait for December 12 to know the "details of the first addition of more Pokemon into 'Pokemon GO.'"
The blog also announced that Niantic plans to release even more updates as 2016 winds down. Whether these updates are in-game related or for aesthetics purpose only, Pokemon trainers can expect a lot more goodies from "Pokemon GO."
For now, though, fans of "Pokemon GO" are just glad that the patch for making Pokemon transfer easier has come. However, fans would have to wait for December 12 for Niantic to reveal details of New Pokemon.
